Built by Alvis, the Scorpion was accepted by the British Army in May 1970. The vehicles were designed to be air-portable. Two Scorpions could be carried in a C130 Hercules. It was armed with the low velocity 76 mm L23A1 gun, which could fire high-explosive, HESH, smoke and canister rounds. In total more than 3,000 Scorpion vehicles went to the British Army, Royal Air Force Regiment and the export market.
We enjoyed drawing this Scorpion, if you like tanks we have even more on the way.

Who doesn't like a tank t-shirt?
Well, a light recce vehicle, not strictly a tank. Symantics aside, fabulous quality and the print isn't just some tacky hight street effort. I just need to order the Ferret t now.
