LAND ROVER LIGHTWEIGHT, FREELANDER, FORWARD CONTROL LADIES V-NECK T-SHIRT

Greg Allen in Rugby owns this Land Rover Lightweight. We met when he drove into a canalised pub car park where I was enjoying a quiet drink.

He has owned the lightweight for 23 years, the only owner since it was released from the MOD. He got it for his 17th birthday before he could even drive it.

It originally was a 24V lightweight but in the late 90s he put in on rangerover running gear with a 3.5 V8. In the last 23 years its had a couple of different size V8s but is currently running a 200TDI from a discovery after the last V8 blew up.

Greg got married this year and used the lightweight to take his new wife from the church to the venue.

The cab was a bit full with Laura-Jayne and the dress.
