The winner of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in '34 was Louis Unser of the legendary Unser race family, driving Glen Shultz's Stutz Special, and setting a record time of 16:01:08 on the 12.42 mile course.
Louis' 1934 victory was his first of 9 wins in the open wheel division, his final victory coming in 1953, and earning Louis the title "The Old Man Of The Mountain".
